Youth Baseball

Mad River Valley Little League started in 1960 and continues to bring the highest youth baseball and softball experience to children in the Mad River Valley. We strive to make every aspect of the game enjoyable & competitive for all.

There are two distinct seasons. Spring season is the main competitive season and runs from the first available date in April (when the snow melts) through the end of the school year.

There is a fall season which is less competitive and focused on player skill development. The fall program runs from the end of August and as long as the weather allows (typically mid to late October).

Baseball Programs
Tee-ball: Co-ed, Ages 4 to 6 - typically 1 to 2 weekdays
Coach Pitch: Boys Age 6 to 8 - typically 1 to 2 weekdays
Minors Players Pitch: Boys Age 8 to 10 - typically 2 to 3 weekdays
Majors Players Pitch: Boys Age 10 to 12 - typically 2 to 3 weekdays
Babe Ruth: Age 13 to 15 (June to July) - typically 2 to 3 weekdays

Softball Offerings
Coach Pitch: Girls Age 6 to 8 - typically 1 to 2 weekdays
Minors Players Pitch: Girls Age 8 to 10 - typically 2 to 3 weekdays
Majors Players Pitch: Girls Age 10 to 12 - typically 2 to 3 weekdays

Spring Registration opens Mid January
